Hextrust Crypto Custodian Granted New License For Crypto Brokerage From VAR

HexTrust, a UAE-based digital asset custodian, has been granted a VASP license from Dubai’s Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (VARA) to offer crypto brokerage services to both institutional and retail clients. This is the second VASP license HexTrust has received from VARA, following a crypto custodial license in November 2023. The Dubai office, established in June 2022, is led by Regional MENA Director, Filippo Buzzi. HexTrust is committed to expanding into the Middle East and sees significant potential for digital asset growth due to progressive regulations, welcoming governments, and the thriving crypto ecosystem in the region.

With this license, HexTrust will be able to hold crypto for clients and allow trading. Dubai’s VARA has awarded 18 VASP licenses to date, with the latest being Binance and WadzPay.
