Enclave Starts Fully Encrypted Spot Exchange
Enclave Markets, a cryptocurrency trading platform, has launched Enclave Spot, a fully encrypted spot exchange, in response to continued interest from institutional investors, the company announced on Wednesday.
Enclave Spot, like a traditional exchange, is designed to allow traders to buy and sell cryptocurrencies almost instantly, but it differs in that it is entirely hosted within a secure enclave, a codebase that performs functions such as custody and trade execution. This ensures that no customer data is leaked and used to give some traders an unfair advantage.
Independent attestators, such as Blockdaemon, Ava Labs, Republic Crypto, and Enclave, oversee custody, review code updates, and ensure that no entity has unilateral control over the new platform.
