Eastern Caribbean Seeking CBDC Vendors For DCash Iteration
The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) has launched a supplier discovery exercise for the second iteration of its central bank digital currency, DCash 2.0.
The first DCash pilot was launched in March 2021 and currently covers eight islands. Vendors interested in participating are requested to respond by January 22.
Bitt, the technology provider for the first iteration, is also the partner for Nigeria’s eNaira.
