Donald Trump Cashes Out $2.4 mn Profit From NFTs
On December 8, former US President Donald Trump transferred over $2.4 million in Ether from a cryptocurrency wallet to the cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase. Trump obtained the Ethereum through his NFT holdings, which included a picture he took upon turning himself in to Georgian police in August 2023.
In the meantime, the discussion among Bitcoiners regarding the Ordinals protocol has escalated. Maximalists who oppose Ordinals have used derogatory language like “shit” and “farts” to characterize Bitcoin NFTs, claiming that they are detrimental to the network.
