DELL’s Expanding Generative AI Portfolio

DELL’s 2023 performance is attributed to its growing AI presence, with shares up 64.6% YoY. The company is enhancing its Generative AI solutions portfolio, aiming to boost top-line growth. In collaborations with NVIDIA and Starburst, Dell is providing businesses with tools and services to harness AI’s full potential, from data preparation to modernizing data infrastructure for faster and more efficient results.

Dell has introduced the Dell Validated Design for Generative AI with NVIDIA for Model Customization, which offers pre-trained models for extracting intelligence from data sparing enterprises. The solution supports model tuning and inferencing and is supported by the Dell PowerEdge XE9680 AI server or the Dell PowerEdge XE8640, with NVIDIA Tensor Core GPUs and NVIDIA AI Enterprise software. The Dell-Starburst partnership aims to accelerate AI and analytics efforts with an open, modern data lakehouse solution, available in the first half of 2024.
