Crypto Whales Buy Ether

According to whale data, there has been a lot of whale activity recently. The most anticipated Ethereum Shanghai upgrade, which will allow staked Ethereum withdrawals, has cryptocurrency whales buying ETH worth millions.

The last 24 hours saw several ETH transfers from cryptocurrency exchanges to wallets, according to Whale Alert. 11,529 ETH worth $20 million were recently transferred from Bitfinex. There was also a transfer from Bitfinex of 13,341 ETH worth $23 million.

A whale transferred 72,999 ETH worth $129 million from one wallet to another just a few hours ago. Given that both wallets contain essentially identical token types, it is assumed that they both belong to the same whale. The recipient wallet then sent 83,000 ETH, totaling $145 million, to an unidentified wallet. More ETH transfers including ETH 20,899 from Coinbase, 12,499 ETH from Binance, 21,451 from Coinbase, and 14,070 ETH from Bitfinex were also reported by Whale Alert.
