Cetera Approves IBIT BTCO, FBTC, EZBC For Trading

Wealth management firm Cetera has introduced a new policy allowing the use of spot Bitcoin ETFs in brokerage accounts.

The approved Bitcoin ETFs include Invesco Galaxy Bitcoin ETF (BTCO), Franklin Bitcoin ETF (EZBC), Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC), and Blackrock iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT).

The policy also includes education and resources for financial professionals to help clients incorporate spot Bitcoin ETFs into their portfolios.

As of February 2024, around 50 million people held BTC, with over $6 billion recorded in spot Bitcoin ETF daily trading volume so far.

Cetera is one of the few wealth management firms embracing bitcoin ETFs and prioritizing developing guidance to help financial professionals implement these products in client portfolios.
