Bybit, a global cryptocurrency exchange serving more than 80 million users, has partnered with Mesh, a crypto payments infrastructure provider connecting over 300 wallets and exchanges, to bring Bybit Pay directly onto Mesh-powered platforms.
Announced September 3, the integration lets eligible Bybit users fund accounts or complete payments on participating platforms using assets already sitting in their exchange balances, without needing to withdraw funds, convert them into a different token, or manually shuffle assets between accounts beforehand.
This successfully folds Bybit’s massive user base into an existing network that already links numerous exchanges, wallets, and financial platforms together, streamlining what has traditionally been a clunky, multi-step process for spending crypto.

How Does The Bybit-Mesh Integration Work?
From a user’s perspective, Bybit Pay will simply show up as a payment or account-funding choice on any Mesh-connected platform, pulling directly from assets already held in that person’s Bybit account rather than forcing a separate pre-checkout transfer.
For businesses that already run on Mesh’s infrastructure, enabling Bybit Pay doesn’t require building a brand-new, standalone integration with Bybit specifically; they can simply switch it on through their present Mesh connection.
Mesh’s underlying system handles all the routing and connectivity work between supported platforms behind the scenes, efficiently acting as the plumbing that lets a user’s existing crypto holdings move wherever they’re needed without extra manual steps.

Mesh co-founder and CEO Bam Azizi framed the broader goal concisely, arguing that people shouldn’t have to relocate their money just to put it to use. Sophie Chen, who heads marketing for Bybit Card & Pay, added that the setup lets users pay directly from balances they already hold, while giving receiving platforms flexibility to settle transactions in whichever asset suits them best.
Bybit Expands Payment Access Across UTA & Merchant Networks
This Mesh partnership fits into a larger pattern of Bybit working to make its exchange balances useful for more than just trading. On the same day as the Mesh announcement, Bybit separately rolled out direct Bybit Pay access for qualified assets sitting in Unified Trading Accounts, eliminating a prior requirement that forced users to manually shift those holdings into a separate Funding Account before making any payment.
That’s on top of earlier moves too. These developments show Bybit steadily chipping away at the friction that’s historically made spending crypto directly feel more complicated than it needed to be. As of this announcement, businesses can begin activating Bybit Pay through Mesh right away, though the companies haven’t yet disclosed specific transaction fees, which assets qualify, or a complete list of markets where the feature will actually be usable.
