Amazon Fire TV To Soon Get Generative AI
Select Amazon TVs using Fire TV OS will soon get generative AI, the fundamental technology of ChatGPT, Dall-E, and Adobe Firefly. Current Fire TV-powered device versions allow consumers to enjoy a hands-free experience. The functions, however, are limited to changing stations or volume, requesting weather updates, and controlling smart home gadgets. Amazon expects that the next upgrade will include smarter living features that would give the business an advantage over competitors, at least in the smart home market.
According to Amazon, Fire TV OS-powered TVs or streaming devices will soon have generative AI capabilities. The business demonstrated new features on a Fire TV Omni series model, which is Amazon’s QLED TV, during a meeting.
According to the article, the initial capability of generative AI software on Fire TVs is confined to making artwork with simple voice commands. When the gadget is not being used to see content, TV artwork might be handy. It converts the television into a big digital photo frame. The capability is scheduled to be available later this year on some Fire TV Omni series models.
