Kalshi has launched its new Midterms Hub in advance of the 2026 U.S. midterm elections, increasing its political prediction market possibilities as interest in election forecasting develops. The portal aims to provide users with a single location to track election prospects, polling trends, funding data, and political news prior to Americans casting their ballots in November.
We just launched the Kalshi Midterms Hub. It will house all information about elections in one place: prediction market data, maps, polling, news, fundraising, historical results, and KPOW.

Users can track prediction markets for specific U.S. Senate and House of Representatives contests nationwide using the recently built website. Kalshi claims that by reflecting where participants are placing their predictions at any given time, the function is intended to provide a real-time view of market expectations.
Prediction markets integrate the opinions of traders who are prepared to support their expectations with cash, in contrast to traditional polls alone. Critics point out that market mood should not be seen as a certain forecast, while supporters contend that these markets can offer more insight into election results by swiftly absorbing fresh information.
Kalshi Combines Live Election Odds, Polls & Fundraising Data
According to Kalshi, the Midterms Hub compiles multiple data sources in one location. Users can access curated political news and analysis from various media sites, examine the most recent fundraising reports submitted to the Federal Election Commission (FEC), and compare market expectations with polling averages, in addition to live prediction market chances.
The startup thinks that by combining market data with conventional political indicators, people would be better able to comprehend how election contests are changing as campaigns get more intense.
The launch is part of Kalshi’s larger plan to increase its visibility in political forecasting. The American Power Index, a political indicator created to determine which party is gaining or losing ground nationwide, was unveiled by the corporation earlier this year.
Kalshi Eyes CFTC Approval To Expand Perpetual Contracts Beyond Crypto
Recent reports state that the corporation is asking the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) for authority to provide perpetual contracts other than cryptocurrencies. According to Bloomberg, the projected expansion may include perpetual contracts related to precious metals like gold, silver, and platinum.
June’s entire notional trade volume, according to Kalshi, was $31 billion, up more than 70% from the month before. The bulk of activity was contracts relating to sports, with a sizable portion of trade volume coming from the FIFA World Cup.
It was reported last month that Kalshi is seeking a fresh investment round with a valuation of about $40 billion, which is almost twice as high as the valuation that was the goal of its prior fundraising campaigns.
