Users in India can now more easily use Anthropic’s premium AI services due to the introduction of Indian rupee pricing for its Claude AI subscription levels. Previously, Indian users had to pay for Claude AI subscriptions in US dollars, which often resulted in additional foreign exchange conversion charges along with applicable taxes. With the introduction of local pricing, customers can now pay directly in Indian rupees, making subscriptions simpler and more transparent.

Claude AI India Pricing Pro Plans With Premium AI Features

Claude Pro is now priced at ₹2,000 per month with yearly billing or ₹2,399 per month with a monthly subscription. Additionally, Anthropic has implemented local pricing for its high-end Claude Max plans, which begin at ₹11,999 for Max 5x and ₹23,999 for Max 20x each month. Team plans with pricing in Indian rupees are also available to enterprise clients.

Anthropic’s most recent AI models, increased usage restrictions, online search, voice mode, memory, research tools, file uploads, project management features, and Microsoft 365 connections are all available to Claude Pro members. Increased usage caps, priority access during periods of high demand, and early access to new AI features are all offered by the higher-tier Max plans.

Anthropic Strengthens India Strategy With Infosys, TCS & Bengaluru Expansion 

Anthropic’s growing investment in India is reflected in the price change. The company recently teamed with Infosys and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to increase Claude AI adoption among organizations, built an office in Bengaluru, and named former Microsoft India Managing Director Irina Ghose to head its India business.
