A live public stress test driven by autonomous AI agents was launched by Sui Network, a Layer 1 blockchain, boldly showcasing its scalability.
On July 4, 2026, real-time dashboards showed that the network’s throughput was impressive, with peaks exceeding 6 million and current transactions per second (TPS) hitting 4.6 million.
Utilizing Sui’s state-of-the-art “Sui Tunnels” technology, the project efficiently batches and settles millions of off-chain transactions on-chain.
This enables the network to manage massive loads from AI agents interacting with games, chat interfaces, payments, and decentralized programs (dApps). This presentation is clear, open, and accessible to participants globally, in contrast to simulated benchmarks.
Months after Sui came under fire for network stability, this initiative was launched. Three outages totaling over 15 hours occurred on the mainnet in late May 2026 as a result of issues in the v1.72 update pertaining to gas charge logic.
Sui public mainnet just reached a peak of 6M+ TPS.
