Crypto exchange Bitget has added U.S. stock options trading to its Stock+ platform, letting eligible users access traditional financial markets along with cryptocurrencies and other assets. This launch makes Bitget one of the few major crypto exchanges to offer cryptocurrencies, tokenized stocks, stock options, forex, commodities, indices, and CFDs all in one place.
The new service now supports long call and long put options. Long calls let traders benefit if share prices go up, while long puts can help them profit from falling prices or protect their stock holdings from losses.
Bitget says this addition makes its Stock+ platform stronger, as it already offers tokenized stocks and some pre-IPO investment options. By adding stock options, Bitget wants to give traders more ways to manage risk and take advantage of earnings reports, market swings, and other trading chances.
The launch comes as options trading continues to grow rapidly in the United States. According to industry estimates, there were over 15 billion active options contracts in 2025, with average daily trading volumes close to 60 million contracts. Options have become more popular among institutional and ordinary investors for portfolio management, hedging, and speculating.
According to Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget, the firm has continuously attempted to link cryptocurrency investing with conventional financial markets.
She said this latest expansion shows Bitget’s bigger goal of bringing many asset classes together on one platform. Users can access stocks, cryptocurrencies, gold, and other investments without having to use different providers.
The company also said it will soon add more advanced multi-leg options strategies. To encourage new users, those who complete their first U.S. stock options trade may get promotional rewards, like NVIDIA stock, depending on availability and campaign rules.
As crypto exchanges continue expanding beyond digital assets, Bitget’s latest move highlights the growing convergence between traditional finance and blockchain-based investment platforms.
