Bybit, a crypto exchange, now supports USD1. Users can hold this stablecoin and earn rewards thanks to a new partnership with World Liberty Financial.
With this new program, users who store USD1 on Bybit can earn daily WLFI token rewards through the “Hold & Earn” campaign. The rewards pool has 45 million WLFI tokens, and returns can reach up to 20% APR based on how many people join.
Bybit also announced that USD1 can now be used as collateral for services like margin trading, crypto loans, institutional lending, and pay-later products. This follows a trend in which exchanges combine stablecoin use with yield-earning features.
To receive rewards, users need to verify their identity and keep at least 1 USD in their account for the entire UTC trading day. Bybit will check balances every hour to decide who qualifies and how much they earn.
Some balances do not count for the rewards program. These include USD1 in Easy Earn products, borrowed funds from crypto loans or margin services, and assets in Copy Trading Pro accounts.
Rewards will be sent daily to users’ funding accounts. Bybit said the APR can change based on the number of participants and the amount remaining in the WLFI rewards pool.
This launch is part of Bybit’s larger USD1 Carnival campaign, which aims to boost stablecoin adoption. USD1 is also becoming more popular on other big exchanges. For example, Binance recently launched a USD1/BTC perpetual futures contract, giving the token more trading options.
Experts note that exchanges are competing more in the stablecoin market by offering trading, lending, and DeFi-style rewards together. Bybit’s new campaign seems designed to attract users who want passive income while keeping their funds available for trading.
Users interested in participating. Anyone interested in joining should read the platform’s terms and conditions carefully before taking part.
