Tether has frozen more than $514 million worth of USDT across Ethereum and Tron blockchain addresses over the past 30 days, according to data from BlockSec’s USDT Freeze Tracker.
The tracker revealed that 370 wallet addresses were blacklisted during the period, including 328 on the Tron network and 42 on Ethereum. Tron accounted for approximately $505.9 million of the frozen funds, while Ethereum represented about $8.73 million.
The latest enforcement activity adds to more than $1.26 billion in frozen USDT linked to illicit transactions in 2025 alone.
Tether has increasingly collaborated with regulators, law enforcement agencies, and blockchain analytics firms to combat money laundering, fraud, and cybercrime involving digital assets.
The scale of the freezes highlights how centralized stablecoin issuers are playing a larger role in policing crypto markets and monitoring suspicious blockchain activity across multiple networks worldwide.
