Revolut, a cryptocurrency-friendly fintech startup, published impressive financial results for 2025, with profit before taxes increasing 57% to $2.3 billion.
A number of business categories, including payments, subscriptions, foreign exchange and cryptocurrency trading, contributed to the company’s 46% increase in overall revenue to $6 billion.
After gaining 16 million new users in 2025, Revolut currently has over 68 million users worldwide. Transaction volume hit $1.7 trillion, while customer balances increased to $67.5 billion.
The business now functions as a licensed bank in over 30 markets and has increased its regulatory footprint. Additionally, it is pursuing a banking licence in the United States.
Its growth plan still heavily relies on cryptocurrency services, such as Revolut X, which makes it simple for consumers to trade digital assets.
Revolut hopes to achieve 100 million users by 2027 and intends to invest $13 billion over the following five years.
The findings demonstrate how fintech companies are effectively fusing traditional finance with cryptocurrency services to spur expansion.
