Bitwise Files For Spot SUI ETF As Institutional Competition Intensifies

Bitwise Asset Management has filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to launch a spot exchange-traded fund tracking SUI, the native token of the Sui Layer 1 blockchain.

Regulatory documents show the fund would provide price exposure to SUI net of expenses, with Coinbase Custody named as custodian. Details including the ETF’s ticker symbol and sponsor fee were not disclosed, extending the race to bring regulated Sui exposure to U.S. investors.
