MetaMask, one of the world’s leading crypto wallets, has announced a $30 million onchain rewards program built around LINEA tokens. The “MetaMask Rewards” initiative aims to reward long-term users and drive adoption across the Linea ecosystem, the Ethereum Layer 2 network developed by ConsenSys.
According to the announcement, the rewards will include referral bonuses, mUSD incentives, partner perks, and access to exclusive tokens.
The company clarified that the initiative is “not a farming play” but a genuine effort to give back to its community.
MetaMask also confirmed that long-time users would receive special recognition and that the new rewards program is connected to plans for a potential MetaMask token.
Users can claim their eligible rewards directly via the MetaMask Portfolio interface once the program rolls out fully in the coming weeks. The move positions MetaMask at the forefront of onchain loyalty programs tied to Web3 ecosystems.
