MicroStrategy (MSTR), the biggest publicly traded Bitcoin owner, flourished with a stock price increase of 300% in 2024, far above Bitcoin’s 150% growth. MicroStrategy, holding 252,220 BTC in its arsenal, is clearly comparable to Bitcoin, but its returns were significantly higher.

The firm’s positions in AI advancement and Bitcoin technology, apart from the fact that institutions are also interested in Bitcoin, aided to its success. Notwithstanding MSTR’s fluctuations, its 4.70 Sharpe Ratio demonstrates the asset’s impressive ability to deal with risk compared to Bitcoin, which has a Sharpe Ratio of 1.73.
