Blast Blockchain Secures Sixth Spot In DeFi Network Rankings

Blast, an Ethereum Layer 2 (L2) blockchain, has recently surpassed Base, a Layer-2 (L2) blockchain network developed by Coinbase, in the total value locked (TVL) among all blockchains. Blast is now positioned just below Ethereum, Tron, BSC, Solana, and Arbitrum, making it a landmark in the DeFi community.

Blast is also set to undergo an upgrade to support blobs (Binary Large Objects) on May 27, allowing the blockchain to store additional binary data apart from transactional data. This upgrade will further push Blast to scale greater heights moving forward.

Its official platform features an active user base of 1.17 million, and Paradigm and Standard Crypto back the L2. Blast has also been integrated along Onto, further revolutionizing its DeFi journey.

In summary, Blast’s rapid growth and integration with Onto have made it a significant player in the DeFi industry.
