Shiba Inu’s Shibarium Sees 1733% Surge In Important On-Chain Measurement

Shiba Inu (SHIB) has seen an incredible surge in new accounts for its Shibarium platform, a layer-2 solution aimed at improving the functionality of the meme-inspired cryptocurrency.

Data from Shibariumscan shows a remarkable 1,733% increase in new accounts in just one day. The network welcomed 780 fresh accounts, a significant jump from the 45 recorded the day before.

The cause behind this sudden surge may spark speculation, but it undoubtedly highlights a unique and extraordinary phenomenon within the Shiba Inu network.

Despite the exponential growth in new accounts, transactional activity within Shibarium has not yet reached its previous levels. Only 5,900 transactions were recorded within the Shiba Inu network over the preceding day, marking a notable decline compared to its peak of seven million transactions per day earlier in the year.
