India Will Have An Upper Hand In AI: PM Modi At Startup Mahakumbh

India is set to lead the world in artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He praised India’s startup ecosystem and urged entrepreneurs to create Indian solutions for global

applications.

India is the third largest startup ecosystem globally, with 1.25 lakh registered startups and employing 12 lakh youth. India has a strong startup culture with over 110 unicorns and 12,000 patents filed. Modi urged youth from Tier-II and Tier-III cities to become “job creators” rather than “job seekers.”

Modi also announced India’s roadmap to become Viksit Bharat by 2047, recognizing the presence of investors, incubators, academicians, researchers, industry members, and future entrepreneurs.
