Google Cloud Joins Flare Network as Validator
Google Cloud has joined the Flare blockchain as a validator and infrastructure provider, joining 100 other organizations to secure the network and contribute to the Flare Time Series Oracle.
Flare, known as “the blockchain for data,” provides developers with access to decentralized data via its Oracle system, enabling smart contracts to be executed based on external inputs and outputs. FLR, the native token, has a market cap of nearly $550 million and is priced at around $0.018.
Infrastructure providers provide high-quality data, helping developers build use cases for blockchain technology and further its adoption.
Google Cloud is one of the few entities offering access to such a volume of data, making it a banner partnership for Flare and a reminder of the ongoing blockchain adoption at tech giants like Google.
