Reddit GEN 4 Avatar Evoking Criticism
Reddit, the American social networking platform, recently announced the launch of a new set of NFT collections, the fourth-generation avatars branded Retro Reimagined, eliciting harsh criticism from the crypto community.
The crypto community took a mixed reception, with gloomy remarks outweighing the minority’s enthusiastic opinion of NFT avatars. Reddit has provided an update on the introduction of the NFT collection, which is set to take place on July 26.
The community raised concerns about GEN 4’s bot protection, interface freezing during NFT purchases, and compared it to Cash Grab avatars. The announcement aimed to reward patience and bring new faces to the collection.
