Blockchain To Broaden Mobile Connectivity
Smartphones may become an essential component of blockchain networks, enabling smart device connectivity in the Internet of Things (IoT) industry.
Nodle is the company behind a connectivity platform that rewards users for becoming nodes in an IoT network. Taking advantage of the growing global proliferation of smartphones, the network uses Bluetooth connectivity to rent computing power, storage, and Bluetooth capability of devices in order to expand the footprint of IoT networks.
Smartphones run Nodle software and serve as nodes, expanding the network and providing resources for what the project refers to as smart missions. Users are rewarded for keeping their app active, allowing the node to complete these smart missions in a novel form of action-to-earn (A2E) trend.
Nodle compared smart missions to smart contracts on the Ethereum network. The primary distinction is that these smart contracts can interact with the physical world and devices via the network’s smartphones.
