- BitGo and Jupiter launched institutional SOL staking through existing BitGo custody accounts.
- Eligible institutions can delegate Solana (SOL) to the independently operated Jupiter x BitGo validator without transferring assets to a separate staking provider.
- Jupiter COO Kash Dhanda highlighted the partnership’s focus on Solana network infrastructure in an October 28 post on X.
BitGo and Jupiter have launched an integration. This integration lets eligible institutional clients stake Solana (SOL) from their BitGo custody accounts. The new integration expands access to staking, and it does so without having to move assets to a different provider.
Institutional Solana staking now fits inside your existing custody workflow.
Through our partnership with @JupiterExchange, eligible BitGo clients can stake SOL from their current custody accounts using the Jupiter x BitGo validator.
Assets stay protected by BitGo’s cold storage security, while clients earn native staking rewards that vary with network conditions. 🔒

BitGo & Jupiter Announce SOL Staking Integration On X
We’re excited to announce partnership with @BitGo to launch a validator built for institutions.
BitGo’s institutional clients can now stake SOL with Jupiter, directly from their existing custody accounts.
Solana’s leading DeFi platform, meet the custodian institutions trust.

Jupiter announced the partnership on X on October 28. Jupiter highlighted that SOL staking is now available for BitGo’s clients, and Jupiter’s validator will handle the staking.
Kash Dhanda, Jupiter’s operating officer, said the partnership brings Jupiter into more than just trading, perpetual futures, and lending.
Jupiter also builds the infrastructure that supports the Solana network. The integration fits the approval steps and asset management rules that institutions need. Jupiter runs the validator on its own. BitGo does not control how the validator works.
Institutional SOL Staking Comes With Withdrawal Delays
Clients can delegate SOL through BitGo’s established staking workflows. However, unstaking is subject to Solana’s protocol-level deactivation process, meaning assets may not become available immediately after a withdrawal request.
BitGo managing director and head of APAC sales Abel Seow said institutional staking needs to align with existing custody and approval processes. The integration addresses that requirement by bringing SOL delegation into an established custody environment.
BitGo also offers institutional access to Ethereum staking through Lido for eligible US clients. The October 7 announcement expanded access to ETH staking, including holding and redeeming stETH through existing accounts.
