US ‘Dominates’ Crypto Startup Funding In Q2

Despite regulatory scrutiny in the US, crypto firms continue to innovate, with roughly half of all capital investments going to US crypto enterprises, according to a recent research.

The survey, published on July 14 by crypto investment firm Galaxy Digital, indicated that U.S.-based crypto businesses had a big share of interest from venture capital (VC) organizations.

“US-based crypto startups accounted for more than 43% of all completed deals and raised more than 45% of the capital invested by VC firms.”

The United Kingdom received 7.7% of capital investment, while Singapore received 5.7% and South Korea received 5.4%, respectively.

However, the overall amount of cash invested in crypto and blockchain firms has continued to fall from quarter to quarter.
