TON-Based Wallet To Support Crypto Assets on Tron.
MyTonWallet announced on Sept. 23 that it will support Tron blockchain assets, including TRX and
USDT, making it the first TON ecosystem wallet to do so.
This move aims to enhance blockchain interoperability and adoption. Founder Alexander Zinchuk
highlighted the importance of managing assets across multiple blockchains.
The wallet plans to expand support for other blockchains like BNB, Solana, and Ethereum, aligning with
the broader crypto push for interoperability solutions.
‘Catizen’ Telegram Game Reveals Airdrop Pass as CATI Token Launches.
Catizen, a swipe-to-earn Telegram game, announced that its CATI token can be used to gain access to
future airdrops via a season pass.
While the initial airdrop distributes 15% of the token supply, players were disappointed, expecting 34%
as per the whitepaper.
The remaining 19% will be distributed through a 90-day cycle ‘Airdrop Pass’ over 19 seasons, lasting
nearly 5 years.
Despite backlash over the current airdrop and changes to criteria, Catizen promised a more transparent
distribution model for future airdrops.
Mango Markets Nears $1.2 mn in Regulatory Fees as CFTC Settlement Looms.
Mango Markets, a Solana-based decentralized exchange (DEX), is facing a potential $500,000 fine from
the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) for alleged violations of commodities
regulations, including illegal services offered to U.S. customers and inadequate Know Your Customer
(KYC) measures.
This comes after a $700,000 settlement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC),
bringing total fines to $1.2 million.
The DEX’s legal team has proposed settling with the CFTC, which would require approval from the
Mango DAO.
The ongoing CFTC investigation stems from regulatory scrutiny following a $110 million exploit in
October 2022 by trader Avraham Eisenberg, which led to criminal charges against him.
