Much of the profit was driven by the revaluation of its Bitcoin holdings at fair value under its fair value accounting model, which it moved to in January 2025. Diluted EPS was $44.75 compared to $8.42 year-on-year.
BTC Yield Flips Negative For First Time
Despite the headline profit, one of Strategy’s most closely watched metrics turned red. The BTC Gain, which measures total Bitcoin accumulated relative to diluted shares, came in at a negative 24,947 BTC, equivalent to roughly $2.03 billion.
