Despite a notable drop in bitcoin trading profits, Robinhood reported yet another impressive financial quarter with rapid increases in sales and profit. When compared to the same time last year, the firm reported a 48% rise in net income and a 32% increase in revenue. However, the income from cryptocurrency transactions decreased by 38%, indicating a decline in the trading of digital assets.
However, Robinhood has continued to expand its blockchain business by building its own blockchain network, releasing tokenized U.S. stocks overseas, and strengthening its crypto services through acquisitions and new products.
According to the financial report, Robinhood made $1.31 billion in sales and $573 million in net profits during the quarter. From over $160 million the year before, revenue from bitcoin transactions dropped to $100 million.

The company handled $40 billion in bitcoin trading activity throughout the quarter. Of that amount, $22 billion came via Bitstamp, the bitcoin exchange that Robinhood purchased in June 2025, and $18 billion came through the Robinhood app.
Robinhood kept making significant investments in its ecosystem of digital assets. It provided tokenized U.S. equities to qualified consumers in over 120 countries, announced Robinhood Earn, its first decentralized lending product, and launched the public mainnet of Robinhood Chain during the quarter.
In an effort to bolster its position in global cryptocurrency marketplaces, the business has successfully acquired WonderFi, a Canadian cryptocurrency platform. As part of its larger worldwide expansion strategy, Robinhood stated that it intends to increase its cryptocurrency offers in the UK.
Its AI-powered investing strategy achieved another significant milestone. With over $100 million in funds under custody, around 100,000 customer accounts are currently registered with Agentic Trading, indicating a rising interest in automated investment solutions.
Even as the firm strives to diversify its business, investors may still be wary of the decrease in bitcoin trading income, as seen by the more than 3% decline in Robinhood shares prior to the results release.
