Nexon To Launch MapleStory NFT Universe
One of the industries that cryptocurrency is predicted to fundamentally alter in the coming years is gaming. Yet, detractors claim that no worthwhile blockchain-based games have yet been created.
With the recently announced alliance between South Korean gaming juggernaut Nexon and Polygon, however, this may soon alter.
On March 20, Nexon, one of the biggest gaming firms in the world, announced a partnership with Polygon, which sparked excitement in the cryptocurrency gaming community (MATIC).
For the release of MapleStory Universe, one of Nexon’s most popular titles, Polygon was chosen. The business will create a specialised, application-specific Polygon Supernet to adapt a blockchain to the intricate needs of massively multiplayer online games.
