Mysterious Whale Injects $2.88 bn Into Crypto
A mysterious entity has injected $2.88 billion into the cryptocurrency market over the past three months, raising concerns about its intentions.
The whale transferred 239 million USDT from the Tether Treasury to a wallet named “0x1dBb,” with subsequent deposits into various exchanges.
This follows another entity receiving 735 million USDT from the Tether Treasury and depositing it into various exchanges.
The crypto community is excited about these strategic purchases, with some predicting they could be traditional investors looking to purchase Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies post-the-spot ETF approval.
These transfers coincide with Tether’s escalating USDT printing, which has contributed to a 38% increase in market cap since January.
