Krafton Plans A Metaverse JV With Naver Z
Game developer Krafton from South Korea has announced ambitions to join up with Naver Z to create a metaverse platform company.
The PUBG: Battlegrounds game creator will purchase stocks and investment assets from other firms in order to construct the JV.
The two businesses will contribute $36.4 million to the new North American-based company.
According to the agreement, Krafton will hold 85% of the JV’s shares, with Naver Z holding the remaining 15%.
Naver Z will be in charge of service planning, while Krafton will be in charge of programme development, including the building of blockchain platforms for creators and sandbox tools.
