Google Rolls Out A Major Expansion Of Its Bard AI

Google’s Bard AI chatbot is undergoing updates that allow it to access Google’s full suite of tools, including YouTube, Google Drive, and Google Flights. Users can now request Bard to plan trips with real flight options or summarize meeting notes from a Google Drive document.

This development aims to enhance the chatbot’s capabilities and assist users in various tasks.Google’s Bard, an AI chatbot, is set to receive significant improvements, including connections to other Google services, multiple language communication, fact-checking capabilities, and a broad update to its large language model. These updates are the biggest in the six months since its public release. The update comes as Google and other tech giants, including Microsoft and OpenAI, compete to develop sophisticated consumer-facing AI technologies. Google is now using its other software programs to make Bard more useful, aiming to convince users that such tools are more than just a gimmick.
