ETH Validator Entry Queue Signals Renewed Interest In Staking
The Ethereum network is experiencing a surge in validators seeking to stake their ETH, with the validator entry queue reaching 7,045, the highest since October 6.
The waitlist, which is over 225,000 ether which is approximately $562 million, it is expected to clear in just over 48 hours.
Ethereum limits the number of new validators per epoch, resulting in a backlog. Validators stake a minimum of 32 ether to participate in Ethereum’s proof-of-stake consensus blockchain, receiving a steady rate of return in exchange.
