The Dogecoin Foundation has partnered with a new entity, Dogecoin Labs, in its efforts to enable the use of the cryptocurrency DOGE for purposes beyond simple exchange and trade. Announced on October 21, 2026, the initiative brings together three ventures: MyDoge, DogeOS and Such App.
Dogecoin Labs is here.

Dogecoin Labs will be focused on the development of wallets, payment services, consumer applications and other products related to Dogecoin. Jordan Jefferson, founder of MyDoge and DogeOS, will lead Dogecoin Labs as chief executive. The goal is to connect developers, Dogecoin holders and businesses through a more structured application and payment system.
Each of the three projects will have a different role. MyDoge is a wallet that provides users with a way to store and manage DOGE. According to the announcement, it has attracted more than 500,000 users without paid advertising. Its recent V3 update also connects the wallet with applications being developed on DogeOS.
DogeOS provides an environment in which developers can build applications for Dogecoin users. Such App focuses on merchant payments. Its beta version already supports invoices and in-person QR-code payments for goods and services priced in DOGE. The planned connection with DogeOS is expected to tie these payment tools with a wider range of applications.
We’re building towards the future Dogecoin’s community deserves… and that future is inevitable.

Under the new arrangement, Dogecoin Labs will own and operate MyDoge, DogeOS and Such App. The Dogecoin Foundation and House of Doge are contributing intellectual property, technology assets and development teams.
The plan could make DOGE more useful in everyday transactions if the applications attract users and businesses. However, some parts of the system are still being developed. The public testnet does not mean that all planned applications are ready for general use, and the intended security connection between DogeOS and the Dogecoin blockchain still requires further work.
