BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust – ETHA has made history by surpassing $10 billion in assets under management in just 251 days, becoming the third-fastest ETF ever to reach that milestone. Since July 1, 2025, BlackRock has added over 1 million ETH, bringing total holdings to 2.8 million ETH valued at approximately $10.2 billion as of July 24.
ETHA’s pace outperformed several legacy ETFs, including JPMorgan’s Nasdaq Equity Premium Income ETF, which took 444 days to reach the same AUM. This rapid growth positions ETHA among elite ETF performers in financial history.
Industry experts have noted the accelerating inflow of capital into crypto-based ETFs. Nate Geraci of ETF Store highlighted that three of the fastest ETFs to cross $10 billion are crypto-focused, reflecting changing investor sentiment and rising institutional adoption. Despite ETHA’s momentum, BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust holds the record, hitting $10 billion in just 34 days, followed by Fidelity’s Bitcoin Fund in 54 days.
