Top NFT Trends To Follow In 2023 – Part 2

By Ruchi Sharma

NFTs will be used as a building block in 2023 to lay a stronger foundation for Web3.

There are several NFT trends to be aware of as we move into 2023 for investors well-versed in the digital economy or those hoping to incorporate NFTs into their portfolio. The new year will bring with it the transition from hype to utility, and investors and collectors should prepare to view NFTs as a tool to build a more transparent, equitable Web3 space.

Let’s look at some of the NFT trends to watch this year.

NFT gaming

By using NFTs to represent in-game items, players can own unique, scarce assets that can be bought, sold, and traded on NFT marketplaces such as AirNFTs. This not only increases the scarcity and value of in-game items, but also allows for the development of a thriving secondary market for these assets.

Fractional NFTs

Fractional NFTs, also known as fractional ownership NFTs, are non-fungible tokens that represent partial ownership of a real-world or digital asset. They enable multiple parties to jointly own a single asset and share ownership rights, benefits, and costs.

Fractional NFTs may become more common and widely accepted as a method of fractionally owning and trading a wide range of assets.

Some potential uses for fractional NFTs in 2023 could include the following:

Fractionally owning and trading real estate, art, or other high-value assets

Fractionally owning and trading NFT collectibles or other rare items

Fractionally owning and trading in-game items or virtual assets

New and innovative uses for fractional NFTs will emerge as the technology and market continue to evolve.

NFT music

Another interesting trend to keep an eye on is the use of NFTs to represent music ownership. Artists can create a new way for fans to support their work while also creating a new revenue stream for themselves by using NFTs to represent ownership of a specific song or album. This has the potential to upend the traditional music industry business model while also giving artists more control over their music.

AirNFTs is one of the best music NFT marketplaces for musicians who are just starting out. The low barrier to entry is critical in attracting customers and creators.
