Tether has unveiled QVAC Health, a new wellness and biometric-data platform designed to offer users complete privacy through local, on-device processing. Instead of routing information through cloud servers, the platform aggregates data from fitness trackers, nutrition apps, and other wearables into an encrypted dashboard that works offline.

Using peer-to-peer model downloads and on-device AI, QVAC Health can analyze physical activity, sleep patterns, symptoms, medications, and even meal photos using experimental computer-vision tools that estimate calories and macronutrients.

Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino described QVAC Health as a “neutral ground for wellness data,” saying it embodies Tether’s commitment to privacy-preserving intelligence. Future releases will support direct Bluetooth Low Energy connections, enabling the app to read data from compatible wearables without accessing manufacturer cloud services.

The platform falls under Tether Data’s broader QVAC initiative, which focuses on decentralized, device-based AI systems. With the global fitness-tracker market expected to grow from $52.29 billion in 2024 to nearly $190 billion by 2032, Tether aims to position QVAC Health as a next-generation alternative to cloud-dependent health platforms.
