Telecom operator du has introduced Cloud Miner, the UAE’s first regulated Cloud Mining-as-a-Service (MaaS) platform, giving residents direct and compliant access to Bitcoin mining. Unveiled at an event at the Burj Khalifa on November 2, the service enables individuals to mine Bitcoin by renting computing power online rather than installing hardware or managing electricity and maintenance costs. The offering is exclusive to UAE residents and operates under local regulatory standards.
Subscriptions are available through an online auction at onlineauction.ae from November 3 to 9. Each package includes 250 terahashes per second (TH/s) of mining capacity for 24 months, with transparent fixed fees and immediate mining activation post-subscription. Users simply need verified identity documents and an investment portfolio to participate.
By removing infrastructure and energy requirements, du aims to broaden access to digital asset mining within a compliant environment. The move reflects the UAE’s growing focus on regulated crypto services and accessible blockchain participation.
