Custodia & Vantage Bank Launch Tokenized Deposit Platform For U.S. Banks

Custodia Bank and Vantage Bank have unveiled a blockchain-based solution allowing banks to issue tokenized deposits interoperable with stablecoins.

The platform lets banks retain deposits while benefiting from blockchain’s low-cost, near-instant transfers. Built on Custodia’s infrastructure and Infinant’s Interlace network, the solution supports GENIUS Act-compliant stablecoins.

Accessible to banks of all sizes, it enables institutions to issue digital tokens representing real U.S. dollars. The initiative follows Custodia’s earlier milestone as the first U.S. bank to issue tokenized deposits on a permissionless blockchain.
