Global exchange Bitget has launched the Universal Exchange (UEX), a trading hub combining Bitcoin, stocks, ETFs, and real-world assets into one platform. The announcement was made during the company’s seventh anniversary, with UEX now available to over 120 million users worldwide.
According to Bitget, UEX bridges the gap between centralized exchanges, decentralized platforms, and traditional finance. CEO Gracy Chen said the platform solves the industry’s “impossible triangle”—balancing user experience, asset variety, and security—without forcing traders to compromise.
The platform addresses key pain points like long token listing times, high transfer costs, and security risks seen in cases such as the $230 million WazirX hack. With global partners, UEX offers access to traditional investments alongside millions of digital assets.
Bitget’s expansion comes as exchanges race to capture retail and institutional interest in blended financial markets. UEX’s integrated approach aims to save traders time and costs while boosting confidence in secure, multi-asset trading.
