The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has expanded its Digital Asset Markets Subcommittee (DAMS) under its Global Markets Advisory Committee (GMAC), bringing in major crypto and finance leaders.
Newly appointed members include Uniswap’s Katherine Minarik, Aptos Labs’ Avery Ching, BNY’s James J. Hill, and Chainlink’s Ben Sherwin. JPMorgan’s representatives and Franklin Templeton executives also joined, with a JPMorgan executive tapped as co-chair.
Acting CFTC Chair Caroline Pham emphasized the agency’s commitment to engaging with digital asset markets through broader expertise. The inclusion of high-profile crypto and finance executives signals continued regulatory dialogue amid evolving U.S. digital asset policy.
