Citizenship in El Salvador for $1mn BTC investment
A new immigration initiative launched by El Salvador grants citizenship to anybody who spend $1 million in Tether (USDT) or Bitcoin (BTC). El Salvador is now officially the nation that welcomes cryptocurrencies thanks to this action.
The Freedom Visa, which grants citizenship based on cryptocurrency investments, is the first of its kind. El Salvador is the first country to provide citizenship based on the amount of cryptocurrency an applicant has invested, unlike other governments, including the United States, which offer citizenship in exchange for large commercial or real estate investments.
