Ava Labs, Citi Launch FX Trading Application
Ava Labs, a company founded by Cornell computer experts, has launched a blockchain application for foreign exchange trading, Project Guardian.
The application, developed by Citi in collaboration with the Monetary Authority of Singapore, is built on the Avalanche blockchain and is designed to simulate FX transactions.
It offers real-time streaming of price quotes and secure record-keeping, aligning with current institutional practices and regulatory standards.
The application also includes Evergreens, private Avalanche subnets, which provide EVM compatibility and permissioned authentication for institutional use.
AvaCloud offers a controlled blockchain solution with high-level services for Web3 development. The application also incorporates oracles for bilateral messaging and allows real-time post-trade analysis on a single platform. Project Guardian’s collaborators include T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc. and Fidelity International.
