DS Automobiles Announces AI Integration In Cars
ChatGPT, a generative artificial intelligence model, has been integrated into DS Automobiles’ DS IRIS SYSTEM, available across the DS 3, DS 4, DS 7, and DS 9 range.
This feature uses language models to understand and generate natural interactions, learning from vast amounts of data to answer a wide variety of questions and provide relevant information.
The DS IRIS SYSTEM uses ChatGPT AI to provide conversational experience in the vehicle, transforming the onboard voice recognition system into a digital assistant devoted to almost any questions asked by the driver.
Users can interact with the DS IRIS SYSTEM by saying “OK IRIS” or pressing a button on the steering wheel, allowing for safe voice interaction without taking one’s eyes off the road or hands off the wheel. Mercedes Benz and GM are also exploring ways to integrate ChatGPT in their production lines.
