    Stablecoin Tether Appoints Ardoino as CEO

    The crypto firm Tether announced on October 13th that Chief Technology Officer Paolo Ardoino will also take over as CEO as of December in a shocking management shuffle for one of the most popular currencies in the crypto market.

    According to a statement from the firm, current CEO Jean-Louis van der Velde will “transition to an advisory role for Tether”.

    Tether, issues commonly known stablecoin Tether and are frequently used in crypto-to-crypto trade since they are intended to retain a constant value of $1.

    Tether is the third-largest cryptocurrency after bitcoin and ether, with a market cap of $83.5 billion, according to CoinGecko.
