MicroStrategy Raises Bitcoin Holdings By $147.3 mn
MicroStrategy, one of the top Bitcoin investors, has added 5,445 BTC worth roughly $147.3 million to its total Bitcoin holdings of 158,245 BTC worth approximately $4.68 billion.
The average price of the new BTC was $27,053, compared to the average price of its existing holdings of $29,582.
Since August 2020, MicroStrategy has been steadily purchasing Bitcoin, with CEO Michael Saylor viewing it as a reliable store of value in the face of inflation. Some people were divided on whether the bold action was brave or a hazardous bet.
