Google Rolls Out New Android Logo
Google has released a number of changes to its mobile apps and services, including enhancements to the At a Glance Google Assistant widget, improvements to the Lookout visual accessibility app, and the inclusion of Zoom calls to Android Auto.
These improvements also include branding modifications designed to emphasize Android’s position as both a fun and serious Google product. This update is in anticipation of the imminent release of Android 14, although it’s worth remembering that most new Android features are provided throughout the year through updates like these, rather than just through major OS platform upgrades.
The At a Glance widget is undergoing a redesign, offering more detailed information about events, travel plans, and local weather, while Google Wallet is introducing a photo import feature for easier pass uploads using barcodes and QR codes.
