First AI-Powered Anti-Drone System Unveiled In India
An advanced autonomous anti-drone device that is powered by artificial intelligence has been unveiled by a robotics company in Hyderabad. The system can shield a large region, even an entire city, from numerous drones of any kind in addition to protecting critical assets like nuclear power plants and oil rigs. The creation of such a system in India dates back to this time.
Grene Robotics, a deep-tech company that specialises in offering AI-powered security solutions for the defence, enterprise, and government sectors, gave a live demonstration of this sophisticated full-spectrum drone security system capability on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
It is said to be the only wide-area Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS) in existence and goes by the name of Indrajaal. It can offer a thorough and well-rounded security mechanism against moving threats that are insurmountable for static defensive systems to handle.
Over a 4,000 square km region, Indrajaal is built to fight against all classes and types of autonomous drones.
